Description

Our client is looking to hire an SAP Security Administrator based in either Charlton MA or El Segundo CA, to be responsible for the following:

 

  • Play an important role in upcoming SAP projects like Global Flexible Scope, NASM/Contracts advanced analytics etc.
  • Governance of any external SAP security resources working for KSNA
  • Support building a joint global SAP Security roadmap
  • Collaborate in the selection and introduction of a global GRC tool for SAP
  • Prepare and carry out SAP security reengineering / redesign projects at KSNA (e.g. ECC and BI)
  • Optimize the overall SAP security processes (access requests, approvals, controls etc.)

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related experience
  • 5+ years of experience in SAP Security Design, Implementation and Administration required, preferably in a large fast-paced business environment
  • Extensive experience with SAP authorizations in SAP ERP, SAP CRM and SAP BW is mandatory
  • Experience with SAP authorizations in latest SAP technologies like SAP HANA, SAP Fiori and SAP Business Objects is most preferable
  • Experience with SAP authorizations in SAP HCM, SAP MDG, NetWeaver Portal and SAP ME/MII is preferable
  • Proven experience with the design and implementation of an entirely new SAP role concept in a global organization
  • Proven experience with analyzing and resolving complex authorization problems utilizing SAP standard tools
  • Clear understanding of SAP Security best practices and compliance requirements and ability to promote and enforce these despite potential resistance
  • Experience with Segregation of Duties (SOD) resolution and the usage of Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) tools
  • SAP Security Training Courses & Certifications are preferable

 

Non-Technical Qualifications:

  • Excellent coordination, negotiation skills, and extensive problem solving  skills
  • Experience managing multiple projects and tasks
  • Proven process analysis and improvement skills
  • Proven ability to self-manage and work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to effectively mentor other team members – technical and non-technical
  • Excellent Communication skills written and verbal
